I went to bed one Tuesday and woke up someone else.
If that sentence makes sense to you, you are in the right place. A naturopath’s framework for the long, dismissed beginning of perimenopause.
Are these symptoms hormonal?
Nine questions, about two minutes. You will see your result and what is driving it before you give me anything.
Free. No email needed to see your result.
Most doctors are trained to recognise the end of this. Not the beginning.
Perimenopause starts, on average, about a decade before your last period. Most women are eighteen to thirty-six months into “something is off” before anyone names it, and nearly forty percent of women seeking care for perimenopausal symptoms say they were misdiagnosed when they first went in. More than half of them were treated for anxiety or depression instead.
This is why your labs came back normal, why the symptoms got called stress, and why the antidepressant was offered before the hormone panel.
None of that means nothing is happening. It means the thing that is happening is one your doctor was not taught to look for at this stage.
Where to start, depending on what is loudest.
Everything here is written by me, for the woman I have just described, and priced so you can try the smallest thing first.
The 3am wake, five days by email

The Perimenopause Reset
A$797.Four weeks, fifteen women, and me in the room. This is the one for the woman who knows what to do and cannot stay consistent doing it alone.
A practitioner, not a marketing team.
I am Davina Hearne. I qualified in 2012 at Wellpark College of Natural Therapies in New Zealand, with three NZQA Level 6 diplomas taken together over three years: Naturopathy, Herbal Medicine and Nutrition.
I am a mother of four, and I am in perimenopause myself.
I had read the books. I had given the framework to other women. It still caught me by surprise, because the same overwhelm that makes you symptomatic is the overwhelm that makes the symptoms hard to think clearly about.
What I will not do is promise you a result in seven days, stack you on fourteen capsules, or pretend I can replace your medical team. What I will do is tell you what I would start with, in what order, and what you can leave out.
Davina Hearne is a New Zealand qualified naturopath, herbalist and nutritionist. She is not a medical doctor. This is health education from a qualified non-physician practitioner. It is not medical advice and does not establish a practitioner relationship.
