I just used the eyecream after a month or so, and realized that the puffiness, redness, and actual soreness I was experiencing for a few weeks a couple of months ago was the result of this cream - it came back immediately with only two days use! The reaction seems to be the same as Carly's. As the jar does not list the ingredients, and I had thrown the box away, I came online to look. Not sure what the culprit was - I have never experienced this before. I do not have overly sensitive skin!
I have sensitive skin and I’ve been a long time fan of Valentia. I’ve never had an issue with their products before, but I had a horrific reaction to this eye cream. My eyes were puffy and swollen, and the skin on my eyelids/around my eyes was bright red and burning for days. After a week of prescribed ointment, I slowly reintroduced my skincare products and realized this was the culprit when I had the exact same reaction. Again, I’ve never had an issue with ANY of their products, but something in this eye cream caused the worst reaction I’ve ever experienced. Wish I knew which ingredient (or ingredient combination) to blame so I could avoid in the future. :(
Many times under-eye products are too heavy for my skin and end up clogging it. Not so with this. I still take it easy and don't use it every night, but on nights I do my dark circles look a little less dark. (I've not yet tried this for day use.) An excellent, creamy texture and I love the smell too--very herbal and lasts for a few minutes.
I never thought that organic could be so fascinating, the eye cream is excellent with a smooth texture, its scent is pleasant and easy to absorb, allowing your eyes to look relaxed😘
Can't give a 5-star because don't know yet if prolonged use will help with crow's feet, etc. but what I wanted was an eye cream that doesn't pill under makeup. This does not! In fact I think I happened upon the website by Googling eye cream that doesn't pill. I like the feeling of this cream very much. It is expensive, but you don't need much!
