100% organic Calophyllum inophyllum (tamanu) oil
I love Tamanu Oil! I have very dry skin and this one of the few products that I feel really moisturizers and hydrates. I put it on every night before bed and don’t wake up feeling greasy!
Though the smell of this oil is very earthy smelling, it has done wonders for my psoriasis. Brought moisture and healing. I'm so glad I tried it out
For the longest time, I actually wasn't the biggest fan of tamanu oil due to its thickness and the green herbal smell it has that stays on you for a while. I tried it on my hair/scalp and body and it just seemed too thick and heavy.
But later I found it makes a pretty good face oil. Rub it between your hands first before smoothing onto face. I like to leave it in a few minutes to let it absorb and then I add a light moisturizer on top to seal it in. Over night, it soaks into the face and leaves no residue by morning.
I have been using Valentina brand Tamanu oil for a few years now. I use it daily on my face (normally nightly) however will use twice daily if my fave needs the extra moisture. I also use it over my whole body when needed. On my dogs ears (she’s a rescue with cropped ears) and they get dry and sad. I have used this oil on cut/scrapes/burns. This stuff is liquid gold (but green) slight nutty smell which I enjoy.
